My Healthy Beginnings Parent News PUBLISHER- Nichole Hirsch Kuechle:
As much as my past work in the birthing community as a massage/craniosacral therapist and birth/postpartum doula has set me on my path, much of my drive comes from our two silly kids. My girls have helped to guide this work of investing in my dream to create a mother- friendly company that educates, shares and connects Twin Cities families to those resources that can support a healthy lifestyle change. Read their blog (link from their home page).

Minnesota Parent Leadership A vision that all parents are civic leaders within and beyond their families to improve the quality of life for all.
In 1997, a small group of parents from the Council for Parent Leadership, a project of the Minnesota Parenting Association, began to evaluate parent leadership training models. The result was a matrix developed by the Council for Parent Leadership with program research conducted in partnership with the U of MN: including U of M Extension Service, the College of Human Ecology, and the Children, Youth and Family Consortium. The Family Resource Coalition of America (FRCA) is also involved.

Parenting Oasis The Parenting Oasis was founded in 2005 with the intention of creating a community center for new parents.
The center offers quality social and educational opportunities where families can share the joys and challenges of raising little ones and creating healthy family, and openly share ideas and experiences while their children play and learn in a nurturing environment. Offer a group, teach a class, lead a discussion; watch the kids, read a story, rock a baby; host for the day, make tea, make everyone at home!
