The Banning of Bisphenol A |

As
many of you may have heard, Minnesota recently became the first state
in the nation to phase-out the use of Bisphenol A (BPA) in sippy cups
and bottle liners. However, the work continues. MPIRG (Minnesota Public Interest Research Group) is building off
of the success of the last legislative session and is now taking the
fight to Washington, D.C. We are working with Minnesota's

September 22, 2009 — An Expert Panel of the Infectious Diseases
Society of America (IDSA) has prepared updated, evidence-based
guidelines for immunization of infants, children, adolescents, and
adults. The new guidelines, which are published in the September 15
issue of Clinical Infectious Diseases, replace the previous IDSA clinical practice guideline for quality standards for immunization, published in 2002. Read an excerpt and the list of guidelines.
